Provide Information to the Work Group about OHS Policies and Procedures

Overview

'Provide Information to the Work Group about OHS Policies and Procedures' is designed to help frontline managers provide information to the workgroup about Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures. This leads to a workforce which is informed about their obligations (duty of care) as well as a workforce which is informed about where to access information about their organisation's policies and procedures. A work group informed about its Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures leads to increased safety and reduced accidents in the workplace and therefore a better and higher performing environment for all stakeholders. 'Provide Information to the Work Group about OHS Policies and Procedures' is the first course (of six) in the unit 'Monitor a Safe Workplace'.
