'Implement and Monitor the Organisations Procedures for Providing OHS Training' is designed to help frontline managers manage Occupational Health and Safety through implementing and monitoring work group training. This includes systematically identifying training needs, conducting training and including training budgets in the department's or organisation's financial plans. A well trained and OHS aware work group leads to higher awareness and participation of OHS issues in the workplace culminating in increased safety and reduced accidents, and therefore a better and higher performing environment for all stakeholders. 'Implement and Monitor the Organisations Procedures for Providing OHS Training' is the third course (of six) in the unit 'Monitor a Safe Workplace'.
